Actually the situation in South Waziristan Agency is extremely knotty. It has been cordoned off from all three sides, Jandola-Kotakai, Wana-Tiaraza and Razmak-Makin since six months.

Entire civilian population has already fled the area. All the three roads leading to the area is under heavy Army control where it has established posts along the roads equipped with heavy artillery guns and even gunship helicopters. But it does not mean that one cannot enter South Waziristan. There are various hidden tracks Mujahedeen are using for their movements in the area.

So-far, Mujahedeen has suffered nominal causalities. Prior to operation they left their strongholds and opted for carrying out protracted guerrilla war. They followed the same strategy Mulla Umer (h.a.) has adopted in 2001, in the wake of ruthless US invasion, when he asked Taliban to evacuate their major urban bases in order to suffer less. I would like to mention that TTP war strategy is being equally supervised by top Taliban and Al-Qaeda Commanders including Sirajudin Haqqani’ Network Military commander Mulla Sangin.

Mujahedeen use to attack Army posts, convoys, and camps. They have inflicted severe loss to the army both in terms of men and material. They have extended their guerrilla operations to Kotkai area which shares borders with Jandola a highly fortified town of Bhittini Tribe. Army is even unable to secure Kotkai, then how it will be able to control rest of Mehsud’s area which has some of the world’s most inhospitable mountains of Badr, Karma, Ladha, Saragha, Dilla, Tangi, Lalayzhe, Makin, Kaniguram etc.

Imagine one thing that despite controlling nearly all major towns of South Waziristan agency, Army is restraining from announcing the completion of the operation. The matter of fact is, Army has been badly trapped and unable to consolidate its control over the controlled area.

Just days earlier ********** has informed me that he personally saw slain bodies of soldiers laying on the main Makin-Razmak road. There are number of such stories.

As far as images or videos from the area are concerned, it’s nearly impossible to shot it. The only source we have in the area is the militants.

Brother just pray, may Allah Almighty guide the Army to the right direction and stop it from becoming a tool for crusaders in their nefarious designs. We are suffering from both sides.
